A European project coordinated by the Fundación Psico Ballet Maite León (Madrid, Spain) in collaboration with the DanÇando com a DiferenÇa Association (Madeira, Portugal) financed by the European Social Fund and the ONCE Foundation, within the Program of Operations for the Development of Transnational Cooperation Initiatives that Promote Equal Opportunities and the Social and Labor Inclusion of People with Disabilities, within the Framework of the Operative Program poises 2014-2020 – axis 7.
The “On stage” project seeks to promote the training and job placement of artists with disabilities, generating a stable employment network based on the analysis and generation of proposals to improve the hiring of stage artists with disabilities and inclusive companies.
For this, work will be carried out in two axes: artistic creation and exchange of practices with inclusive companies from Portugal and Spain and, on the other hand, spaces for dialogue with stage companies, artists with disabilities, cultural managers, programmers and cultural agents, preparing a document of conclusions on the object of the project.
